Growing up, anime was a huge part of my childhood. It was fun. It was an escape. And like a lot of kids, I wanted the shirts too.

Mum couldn't always afford them. I understood that, even when I was young. We wore hand-me-downs, and I was content with what we had.

Years later, when I started Hikari Ichiba, those experiences helped shape the kind of community I wanted to build.

A place where something you love can still be affordable. Where affordable doesn't mean sacrificing quality. Where nobody feels left out because of the size they wear. And where the people who support Hikari have a voice in what we become.

Because Hikari isn't just about what we sell.

It's about the things we love, and the people we connect with because of them.
